The first room on the right, which currently houses the library, was devoted to receiving pilgrims. It has an external door with two small windows and an internal door. The room is warm and cosy. At the centre of the rib vaulted ceiling there is a fresco of the Madonna and Child with Angels by an unknown artist. This fine painting dates back to the 1600s.
